Passenger Information Displays
True color, day & night video LED display boards are mainly used as Passenger Information Displays. Typically they are used at the entrance/exit gates or inside the complexes for Airports, Railway stations and bus-stations
MIC developed most common useful “Video-cum-Train Information Display System” for Indian Railways as per the specification RDSO/SPN/TC/67/2008, Revision 1.0 got approval from RDSO. It is a solution for “Integrated Passenger Information System” and consists of:
- Coach Guidance Display scrolling / rotation
- At-A-Glance Display
- At-A-Glance Display
- Indoor Multi-line TAD Display (5line/10line/15line)
- Outdoor Multi-line TAD Display (5line/10line/15line)
All these small and big LED displays are interconnected using standard OFC/CAT-5/RS-485 cables and controlled from one centralized server called “Central Data Controller”. The system supports Audio Announcement Service also. The system is supported with user friendly web application to obtain, process and timely displaying and announcing the relevant content
