Coach Lighting
The lighting inside the coaches is provided by 110V AC or 110V DC supply with battery back-up system. Modern lamps may also have light-sensitive photocells to turn them ON at dusk and OFF at dawn, or activate automatically in dark weather.
Coach Lighting systems are designed to work with battery-backup even in the failure of the coach-wise power system of 110V AC or 110VDC. And thus they provide illumination for the passengers to identify the way for commuting within the coach. These kind of lights are placed at the passage and at the doorways in railway coaches (1 each).
